The Argentine Language Industry Association (ALIA) was created through the merger of Translated in Argentina (TINA) and Asociación Argentina de Servicios Lingísticos (AASL), uniting the two leading organizations in Argentina’s language services sector. The two organizations will merge, aligning their missions and resources to reinforce Argentina’s position as one of the world’s key hubs for translation and localization services.
We are especially proud to share that Rocio Manfredi, one of Arcadia’s founding partners, has been appointed as ALIA’s first President. This milestone reflects both her leadership and our ongoing commitment to strengthening Argentina’s language industry. We also congratulate the outstanding professionals from across the industry who make up this new Board of Directors, whose collective expertise will help shape this next chapter.
With more than 15 years of combined work, both associations have actively supported the growth of translation and localization in Argentina through training, technology adoption, international engagement, and strategic initiatives, helping position the country as a key regional and global player.
Today, ALIA represents a new, consolidated stage focused on collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth for the entire language services ecosystem.
We invite all language industry professionals to join, engage, and actively contribute to building a stronger and more connected future for our sector.
